Pontypridd Town Heritage Trail

Fancy discovering the history of Pontypridd, a town born from the industrial revolution?

Pontypridd boasts the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, the exciting Pontypridd Market Quarter, and the William Edwards 'Old Bridge' -  once the longest single span bridge in the world.

The trail guides you past key attractions and more, while the narrator tells you our history, of how the rousing Welsh National Anthem was written right here.

Pair with the Pontypridd Audio Trail track for more information about the town's history.

The 3.2km walk starts at Pontypridd Museum and finishes at Pontypridd Market, taking approximately 1 hour to complete.

Couple the trail with a dip in the Lido, a browse around Pontypridd Museum and a delicious meal in one of the town's many eateries for a great afternoon out.

Please note the route is mainly flat, though there may be some uneven terrain encountered through the Park.
