Park and Dare Theatre

Over a century ago, the miners of the Park and Dare collieries funded the creation of this stunning theatre, which dominates the skyline in Treorchy, a former winner of the UK’s best High Street.

The Park and Dare is home to the sensational Treorchy Male Voice Choir and the Park and Dare band and has hosted stars of the stage and screen since its opening in 1913.

It continues to host dramas, musicals, comedy and more and also has cinema screenings.
