Cafés
Coffee, cake, cooking, comfort – find it all in Rhondda Cynon Taf!
Café culture is definitely a thing in Rhondda Cynon Taf. Many of our independent cafés originate from Bracchis (coffee shops and ice cream parlours) that were opened by Italians who migrated here during the coal mining industrial surge. Often still in the same families, they serve steaming hot coffee and home-made cakes and savoury snacks. We also have places to rest and enjoy a cooked breakfast and modern eateries serving goodness bowls and eggs benedict.
